Uierontsteking+droogzettenDe FSH, LH werking is noodzakelijk om dieren op gelijke tijdstippen dekklaar te krijgen. De bronst wordt gesynchroniseerd.
De PGF2a werking is noodzakelijk om de dragende koeien allemaal tegelijk te laten werpen of om eierstokken met overgebleven gele lichamen op te schonen. Daardoor kunnen ontstekingen in de baarmoeder genezen. Wanneer de koe wel KI gedaan is, maar bij palperen of scannen niet dragend is dan zorgt PGF2a voor een beeindiging van de gele lichamen op de eierstok en het moederdier kan opnieuw in bronst komen,tochtig worden.
